Forgive my Kaws head, Was not an easy one to model in Solidworks
Cool! Didn’t know Kaws at all but great style, googled a bit. Those kind of projects are great ones to learn more, sweet!
Thanks, truth is I was watching @TextureMan’s watch lighting/environment tutorial on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsb6zei3hRE) and thought I’d try it out with a chrome material. I always try to collab two brands to keep the project interesting and enjoyable for me.
Hello Harry,
It looks awesome, I really love that style I wish I knew how to modeling in SolidWorks, I never really try that software.
Love that green color,
Nice work, big fan of Kaws myself. Nice modeling on the Kaws head too. Organic surfaces are such a pain in SW.
So many reflective surfaces! It is a photographer’s nightmare and ultimate challenge - but you managed to kill it. Amazing work man.
As a fellow SW user, many props both on the idea and execution! I wouldn’t trade the ability for awesomely customizable drawings and configurations with design tables and all that… but man, without the Power Surfacing plugin, anything organic tends to be so slow and tedious. Lately I have taken to working in the Fusion360 sculpt module and then bringing the organic parts into SW.
Yeah, I’m trying to decide which other software to dedicate some learning time too for the more organic shapes, but I seem to end on a loop… Crazy to me that SW is missing some of that (Easier) organic modelling.
